1963 – 2023

Shawna Zink, born in 1963, passed away on September 2, 2023. Shawna leaves behind a loving family, including her daughter Veronica Frank, her son Jeremy Stevens, her grandson Jaxon Stevens, and her granddaughter Adalene Stevens. She also leaves behind several close friends that she loved like family: Teresa Michaelis and family, Jillian Bowman, Nicole Cloward and more. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Zink, whom she married in 2008, and her father, Kerry Scherf.

Shawna had a great love for life, which was evident in her diverse taste in music, movies, and recreational activities. She loved music and her favorite artist was Aurora. Her favorite movie was Ratatouille. She enjoyed fishing and camping and loved going to Grantsville Reservoir and North Willow canyon. Her creativity shined as she crafted, and she cherished the moments spent with her friends.

Shawna was a beautiful free-spirited empath who shined bright with love, compassion, and kindness. Her legacy of caring for others, sharing compliments with strangers, and making others smile, will live on in the hearts of those who had the pleasure of knowing her. 

We will remember Shawna as a beacon of love and kindness, leaving behind a world that was undeniably brighter for her being in it. Her spirit will live on through her loved ones, and she will be dearly missed.
