On Sunday, December 11th, 2022, our beautiful mother Laveileone La’ulu Broederlow, made her heavenly journey home. She was surrounded by loved ones at home in West Valley City, Utah.
“Oge” as she was known to her family and friends was born on July 13th, 1946, in Fa’aala Palauli, Samoa. She was number 15 of 23 siblings. Her parents were Tulali La’ulu and Apuauro Fa’ala’ula’u who have preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, Adolph Broederlow
Her children – Irene Laveileoge Masina (Lance), Leonard Lafoga Broederlow, Doris Fa’ataualofa Tumanuvao (Samoa), Joyce Valasi Young Yen (Risati), Rudolph Clay Broederlow (Lani), Lilly Joyleen Lavata’i (Etisone), Adolf Broederlow who also preceded her in death (Iutiti Apo)
Twenty-four grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
Her siblings Koloti La’ulu, Ainofo Afo, Suresa Tafua, Mariah Afuvai, Nu’uali’itia La’ulu, Sitahiti La’ulu, Moe La’ulu.
Our mother was a compassionate individual and loved to help those in need. She spent hours cooking delicious meals to share with loved ones and those whom she visited. Cooking for others was her way of showing love. She treasured music and singing. She sang in her ward choir and enjoyed reminiscing about her childhood in Samoa.
She was a proud and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints. She cherished everything about the gospel; from teaching, conducting music, doing missionary work to visiting the elderly and sick.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Granger North Stake Building: 3175 South 3450 West, West Valley City, UT 84120. Date: Friday, December 23rd, 2022, from 9:00am-11:00 am followed by a Bishop’s service between 12:00pm – 1:00pm.

Losing a cherished love one is tough and especially during these times of joy. It’s my prayer our Heavenly Father will bind up the broken hearts that will undoubtedly miss her and in the presence of sorrow, that the beauty of the life lived and loved will fill your hearts.
