1944 – 2023
Kenneth Eugene Davis, age 79, passed away from cancer on July 18, 2023, at his home in West Valley, Utah. He was born to Emily Leitha and Thomas Glenn Davis on February 4, 1944, in Pocatello, Idaho. On February 14, 1964, he married Linda Lee Ward of Malad, Idaho, and they were sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on February 14, 1974. He valued his faith in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many stake and ward callings. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Davis, and nine children: Sherry L. Huffaker, Douglas E. Davis (Sara), Vickie L. Samuel (Arif), Bryan G. Davis (Tamara), Scott W. Davis (Jamie), Cathy A. Davis, Christy J. Herrera (Carlos), Jenny S. Davis, Mandy E. Davis (Carson Hall); his sister, Geraldine; 18 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Glenn and Emily Leitha Davis, and brother Gerald Jay Davis.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 20th, from 3:30pm to 4:30pm at the City View Mortuary (1001 E 11th Avenue, Salt Lake City, UT 84103). An additional viewing will be held on Friday, July 21st, from 12pm to 12:45pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meetinghouse in Arbon, ID (1353 Church Road Arbon, ID 83212), prior to the funeral to be held at the same location at 1pm. Burial will follow in the Arbon Valley Cemetery, Arbon, Idaho.
