Jeffrey Dean Gladback

December  13, 1961 – October 10, 2022

Jeffrey Dean Gladback passed away peacefully and suddenly at home October 10, 2022 due to health complications.

Jeff was born in Minot North Dakota to Milo and EthelMae Gladback. He was the second to last born in a family of 8 brothers and sisters. He graduated from Bishop Ryan Highscool in Minot, North Dakota. After some time exploring Minot and Montana he moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where he met his wife Sharon, married 30 years (31 November 22, 2022). They have two daughters together. Jeff loved spending time fishing, hunting, spending time outdoors and time with family. He will be missed many of the lives he touched with his kindness and humor. Many will remember him for his stubborn attitude and sometimes blunt opinions, though they also knew his generosity and hopefully his home cooked meals.

He is survived by Sharon Gladback (wife), Donna (daughter) and Kyle Adams, Amanda Gladback (daughter), Patricia Townley (sister), Pamela (sister) and Ron Vannett, Mary Kester (sister), Catherin (sister) and Bill Donald, Steven (brother) and Kathy Gladback, and many more extended family.

Preceded in death by Milo (father) and EthelMae (mother) Gladback, Mike Gladback (brother), and Mark Gladback (brother)

There will be a small family ceremony in Salt Lake City, Utah. Details will come soon.

    Sharon and Family,
Fond memories go back to when Jeff and i were kids growing up. Memories of when the Gladback family would load the station wagon and make the long tip to the farm and the great fun we’d have when we’d get to play with the cousins when we’d make the trip to Minot. Haven’t seen Jeff in yrs, but still miss him now.
Sincere condolences from our family to yours.

Jeff was my Dad’s 1st cousin Jeff and I went to High School together. I have many many fond memories or time spent with the Gladback’s, but most especially of the younger cousins as they were closer in age. Snowmobiling, waterskiing, sleep outs in the big tent in the yard at the Gladback cabin were a mainstay of my childhood. I’m am very sorry for your loss and it is my sincere hope that your memories of a wonderful husband and father sustain you in the coming weeks, months and years.
