November 27, 1932 – November 6, 2022

Tooele Resident, Evelyn Marie Mount Froscheiser, age 89, passed away on November 6, 2022, at home due to natural causes. She was born on November 27, 1932, in Falls City, Nebraska to Clara M. Harder and Earl Mount.

Evelyn married Benjamin (Ben) Conrad Froscheiser February 10, 1951, in Hebron, Nebraska, and was later widowed June 22, 1991, when Ben passed. The couple moved to Utah in 1962, and she worked for many years as a civilian ammunition maintenance worker at Tooele Army Depot. After retiring Evelyn enjoyed time with her family, camping and fishing, teaching her granddaughters to sew and bake, yard selling, trips to Wendover to play the penny and nickel slots, Bingo nights and sewing treasured gifts for people with her daughter at Yard Sale Fabrics.

Evelyn is survived by her sister: Faye Crawford of Missouri; children: James (Kat) Froscheiser, Jeanette Lovell, Rick (Kim) Froscheiser, all of Tooele, Utah; granddaughters: Tobie Warner, Jennie Payne, and Shannon Froscheiser; eight great grandsons, one great granddaughter, and one great-great grandson.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, husband, and foster son.

At Evelyn’s request there will be no funeral, memorial, or celebration of life. Interment will take place at the Tooele City Cemetery under the care of Dalton-Hoopes Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
