Emily Anne Fisher

1999 – 2023

Emily Anne Fisher, age 23, returned home to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, January 28, 2023 due to injuries sustained in a car accident. She was welcomed and warmly embraced by her grandfather, Richard Strong.

Emily is survived by her parents, Mark and Susan Fisher, her older sister Megan, her twin and best friend Savannah, her brother-in-law Parker Lewis and her youngest sister Audrey. She is also survived by grandparents Larry and Susan Fisher and Cynthia Strong, and many aunts, uncles and cousins who miss her very much.

Emily was attending Utah State University and was in her final semester pursuing a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resources. While at Utah State, Emily was involved with many activities and clubs. She was a Business Ambassador and the Vice President of Women in Business for the Huntsman School of Business. Emily served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Milan, Italy Mission. She blessed many lives and grew a strong love for the people of Italy and a stronger love for her Father in Heaven and her Savior, Jesus Christ. She was fortunate enough to return to Italy and visit friends this past August. Emily loved Heavenly Father, her family, and Jeremy. She also loved Hershey’s Chocolate Bars, Italy, going on adventures, painting, and lacrosse. She lit up a room when she walked in and made everyone feel loved. She was selfless and caring and was the very best of us. Her laugh was contagious, she was a great listener and would fill any hole in your heart. We are so lucky to have had Emily in our lives these past 23 years. Family, friends, and anyone whose life was touched by Emily are invited to attend her funeral services.

All services will be held at the LDS Chapel View Building (11473 S. Chapel View Dr., South Jordan, Utah 84095). Viewings will be Thursday, February 2nd from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and Friday, February 3rd from 10:00am to 11:30am followed by the funeral service at 12:00pm. Interment will be at South Jordan Cemetery.

The funeral services will be live-streamed via Zoom:

I served with her in the same mission. I didn’t have the privilege of being in the same district as her, but I felt her strong testimony, I know she is with her Heavenly Father and is held in a warm embrace. Le voglio bene <3
