Damien Monroe Laveder, age 49 passed away on September 9, 2023 at Grantsville reservoir. He was born on August 8, 1974 in SLC, Utah to Janet Kay Case and Ricky Dean Higley, raised by Patrick Allen Laveder.
Damien loved anything and everything outdoors, fishing, hunting and camping were some of his favorite pastimes. He loved spending time with his family, children and grand children, he always had a love for animals especially dogs and brought home many strays over the years, most recently he had his little dog Luise, she was always by his side wherever he went. Damien loved working with his hands building things and tinkering in his shop. He worked for Renewal by Anderson with his nephew Johnny Verburg installing windows, a job he took great pride in. If anyone was ever in need of help Dame was always right there no matter what time of day it was. We will especially miss his humor, beautiful smile and big laugh.
Survived by Mother Janet Case, father Patrick Laveder, daughters India Laveder, and Destiny Martinez, son Ricky Higley, grandchildren Aria & Adeline Quintana, brother Derrick Walker, sisters Natalie (John Verburg) Patricia (Scott Benfield) Heather Rowsell, Emily(Theron Simmons) and many family members and friends.
Preceded in death by Father Ricky Higley, grandparents Howard & Wanda Higley, Vonza Sleeter, Angelo and Madeline Laveder.
A celebration of life will be held September 23, 2023 at Grantsville reservoir at 2:00PM

Damien was always a curious child. Sometimes he thought well ahead of himself or so I thought! He was beautiful he was loving he was kind and he was loyal and he was a naughty little boy at times what can I say he was my son and I miss him
