In Loving Memory
March 23, 1959 – November 16, 2023
Barry Lee Freedman, age 64 passed away on November 16, 2023 at home in Erda, Utah. Barry was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and lived in Tooele County since 1996. He is survived by his wife, Dianne F. Freedman; his beloved English Setters Tyler and Casey; and Mr. Peter Parrot and Sam Cockatoo.
Barry was a Registered Nurse and worked at the University of Utah hospital for many years. He volunteered at the Lee Kay Shooting Range following retirement.
Before is back failed him, he competed in marathons and triathlons, enjoyed rock climbing, backpacking, ATV riding and other outdoor activities. Barry was an accomplished woodworker and leather worker. He loved caring for his lawn, gardening and doing landscaping projects.
A memorial service for both Barry and his sister Lynda is being planned for early 2024 in Philadelphia.
