Tamera Lee Fisher Tolman

dhfh

Tamera Lee Fisher Tolman, 63, Returned to her Heavenly Father April 11th, 2025 in Tooele, Utah.

She was born on December 24th, 1961 in Eureka, Utah, adopted by LaRoyce (Beckstead) and Richard Fisher.

Tami was divorced.

Tami was adopted at a young age by her loving parents. She grew up in South Jordan with two brothers and a sister. She loved to sing and play guitar. Country music was her favorite. She graduated from Bingham High School in 1980. She married her first husband, but this would not last and they divorced soon after. She gave birth to her first son in 1989, remarried, and had another son in 1994. She loved camping and cooking with her dutch ovens. She made a peach cobbler that never made it to leftovers. She also loved her horses. She was a Barber by trade, but had a passion for wood crafts and painting. It was not uncommon to receive a decorative piece of art for the holidays if you knew Tami. In the early 2000’s while driving as a hospital courier, she was injured in a significant car accident that damaged her spine and left her in constant pain. Unfortunately, this would spiral into a lifelong battle with pain management until the very end. This never stopped her from having a great sense of humor. She believed strongly in the Lord and kept high spirits. Many people knew her as “Momma T,” for she was a motherly figure to all.

The spirit of her love and kindness lives on in the hearts and memories of those whose lives she touched.

She is survived by her Brother Byron (Linda-Jean) Fisher, Brother Jim (Debbie) Fisher, Sister Linda
(Kelly) Draney, Ex-Husband John Tolman, Son Kolten (Angie) Tolman, Son Kaiden (Brianna) Tolman, her grandchildren, and many much-loved aunties, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Richard & LaRoyce Fisher.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Easter Monday, 21st of April, 2025, at the West Waterfront Pavilion, 11050 South Riverfront Parkway in South Jordan. Her friends and loved ones are invited to come and visit and feel free to share stories, memories, or photos of Tami.

Cremation done under the care of Dalton-Hoopes Funeral Home & Cremation Center.

Tammy, Darla Maynard and I were hooked at the hips back in Jr. High & High School. Tammy would play her guitar and we would all sing together, sleep out on the trampoline and often TP the neighbors. We had great fun growing up in beautiful South Jordan. It was a childhoods dream town to grow up in.,We made the most of our time swimming in the canal, building tree forts, playing softball and riding our bikes all over to each others houses and spending our nickels & dimes at Earls. Holts or Hungry Jacks. It was an idealic time of life and we made the most of it! I’ll always hold memories of my friends and good ole South Jordan dear to my heart! Especially since I found my husband there!! It was the friends that made that place so special and I’ll forever hold those memories dear to my heart!

Our times at Utah Tech were memories that we will always have. The laughter and goofing around at Taco Time are highlights of another place and time. Our hair was always in your fingertips so careful and kind. You were the one that introduced us to each other so long ago. Thank you, God Speed, until we meet again..
