Paul John Giron

“Pudgy”

Paul J. Giron passed away July 10, 2024 at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born February 28, 1963 in Salt Lake City the second youngest of Horacio & Rose Giron’s eight children.

Paul was a fun loving and humorous guy, who loved his family and referred to his nieces and nephews with silly nicknames.  He was definitely considered the “cool” uncle!  If anyone needed help, he was always there to offer his talents and skills of carpentry and brut strength.

His heart was huge and he never hesitated to check in with loved ones.  Although loved my many, there were a handful of special friends Paul cherished for decades.  He appreciated the beauty of Tigers, Lions and Crown Royal 😊!  Paul and his mischievous laughter will surely be missed by all.

He was survived by his daughters Elena and Maria; his siblings Jerry (Melanie), Mike, Jeanette, Tom, Gloria Montoya (Mark), and David; and his many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father and mother as well as his older sister Debbie Casey (Mark).

Celebration of Life will be held on August 3, 2024 at the South Salt Lake Community Center, 2531 So. 400 E., South Salt Lake, Utah 84115 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM

    Paul’s Psalm:
My heart breaks knowing that I cannot speak to you, the loss is overwhelming.
When will the waves of emotion cease? I find my mind wandering of time spent together and long for more time.
My thoughts now, are of you sharing time with loved ones who have gone on before us.
Of the memories shared both good and bad, fun and sad.
God comforts those who morn your loss, for many are in pain.
But I know your faith in God was strong, though not so much in religion, and that makes my heart glad.
Til we meet again “little” brother, Rest in Peace and may perpetual light shine upon you.
I look forward to the day we when we will see each other again in the loving presence of God.
And I Praise God in His glory and for His very awesome coolness!
