Mason Carroll

Mason Steven Carroll left us unexpectedly on April 2 nd , 2025.
Mason was born June 23 rd , 1995, to Steven Carroll and Jenny Carrillo in Salt
Lake City Utah.
Mason spent most of his childhood in Clearfield Utah from hanging out with
friends to finding ways to annoy his siblings with his brotherly antics. Mason
had a certain type of energy that hit you like 5 cups of coffee.
Throughout his life mason had Inherited his father’s love of cars & gaming.
He always had the newest gaming consoles and systems with every game
you could think of. Mason’s summers were filled with friends and concerts.
Mason had a passion for music that no one could understand, some of his
favorite bands being Avenged Sevenfold, Falling in Reverse, Blink -182 &
Green Day.
Mason was always protective of his siblings & Kids. Being such a major
influence in their lives and someone to look up to no matter the situation he
was there for them. Mason was honest with everyone who knew him,
something does not a lot of people could handle but he was an honest
person, something people aren’t these days.
Mason is survived by His Mother Jenny Carroll, Siblings Alicia Carroll +
Benjamin Price (Brother-in-law) Owen Carroll, His Fiancée Donna Butterfield
and sons Zachary & Tate Butterfield. Uncles Chance, Scott, Chris, Justin
Barnard.
Aunts Jocelyn Prestwich, Ericka West Gillman. Grandfather Ron Carroll.
Grandmother Barbara Bentley. & many cousins / friends.
Preceded in death by Father Steven Carroll, Grandmothers Sandra Barnard.
Karen Gillman. Grandfathers Scott Barnard, Roger Gillman. Great
Grandmother Doris Shadoan. Uncles Matthew Barnard, Brian Gillman.
A celebration of Mason’s life will be held Friday April 11 th , 2025, at Red
Butte Garden and Arboretum, 300 Wakara Way, Salt Lake City, UT 84108
Doors will open at 11AM Services will begin at 12 PM noon Sharp.
Mason has left an impact on so many lives, and we will miss him.
