1952 – 2023
Our beautiful beloved wife, mother and grandma Lise R. Gonzales passed away on March 30, 2023. Lise was born on April 16, 1952 in Quebec Canada to Jeannette and Lucien Laviolette.
She later moved to the states where she obtained her Certificate of Naturalization which she was very proud of this accomplishment. She went on to receive her LPN from Weber State University. She spent many years caring for “her people” at Rocky Mountain Care where she later retired.
Her greatest joy in life were her grandchildren, we will forever miss her daily requests for pictures. She loved all animals, especially her fur babies. She was always up for a trip to Wendover with her sister. She had an obsession with her Nintendo DS and her casino games. She always made sure her kids and grandchildren knew they were loved and she was thinking of them, daily.
She married the love of her life Elmer Gonzales on June 29, 1985. She is survived by her husband, her son Marc (Tanya) and daughter Monique (Chris) and Chris and Cortney Burbidge who she loved like her own sons. Also surviving are her grandchildren BreeLynn, Addison, Brantley, Austin and Rhaelyn. She is also loved by her brother Gilles (Lynne) Laviolette and sisters Gigi (Willard) Gowans and Monique Davey and many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 4 2023 from 2-4 p.m. at the Dalton Hoopes Funeral Home, 50 West Main Street Grantsville, Utah 84029.
We will forever miss and love you SUNSHINE!

My heart is broken today. Lise was a beautiful person. I was blessed to work with her at the nursing home. She was so helpful and willing to help me when I first started working there. We were Facebook friends. She would always comment on my posts especially when it was about my grandchildren. I will miss her very much. Condolences to her husband and family.❤️
