Heather Hansen aka Heather Oreno

Heather Hansen(Also known as Heather Oreno)
October 7, 1976 – September 1, 2024
Heather Hansen, our incredibly beautiful mother, was taken from us far
too soon. She dedicated her life to her children, always putting our happiness
and well-being first. She was endlessly proud of our achievements and
supported us in everything we did.
One of our mom’s proudest moments, beyond raising her four
wonderful children, was the birth of her two grandsons. Her heart overflowed
with joy as she embraced her new role as a grandmother, cherishing every
moment with them.
Heather had a deep love for the outdoors and a passion for family
traditions, especially during the holidays. She loved Christmas and always
went above and beyond to make it magical for her children. She loved making
home-cooked meals and was very creative in everything she did, always
finding joy in making memories with her family.
Heather was the kind of friend everyone hopes to have, the kind you
only get once in a lifetime. Her loyalty knew no bounds, and she valued every
friendship deeply, especially the bond she shared with her best friends, Kami
and Rachelle. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering kindness made her
an irreplaceable presence in the lives of those lucky enough to call her a
friend.
Heather attended Manti High School and Snow College, and during the
summer before her senior year, she welcomed her first child into the world.
Despite the challenge of raising a child while attending school, it didn’t affect
her education. In 1995 she graduated with honors and earned an associate
degree in science. She also pursued construction management and was
proud to compete as part of Snow College’s national team at the National
Home Builders Convention.
Her life was tragically cut short, leaving a lasting legacy of love and
kindness. Heather is survived by her four children: Trinity (Josh) Broadbent,
Payton (Alyssa) Oreno and their children Jax James and Hudson James,
Dalaney (Colton) Oreno-Tate, and Coehn Oreno. She is also survived by her
siblings: Jamison (Jen) Sanders, Amy (Ryan) Link, Crissy Williams, and Melissa
Dutson. She is preceded in death by her mother, Tanya Hansen, and her
grandmother, Beverly Hansen.
Join us in celebrating Heather’s life on Monday, October 14, 2024, at
Camp Wapiti, Settlement Canyon, at 1:00-9:00 PM. In lieu of traditional
