Donna Jeanne Theriault Lewis, age 78, passed away early Monday, Dec 2, 2024 at home with her husband Steve.
She was born Nov, 19, 1946 in Murray, Utah to Rachel Emma Pratt and Hermel J Theriault.
Donna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was set up on a blind date she didn’t want to attend. This blind date ended with a kiss that started a fire. Steve told her that night he was going to marry her. She didn’t believe him. They married June 28, 1971 at her mother’s house. They would be sealed at the LDS temple April 6, 1995. They both brought 3 kids to the new marriage. All of whom were loved. She didn’t like to call anyone step or half, they were all “our” kids. They went on to have 5 more kids. Together they had 53 years of kids and chaos. She loved kids and was always happy to hear when someone was pregnant, even if they weren’t family. She loved to make friends and spend time with others. She always had a story for every occasion and would share them with you even if you heard them a thousand times. Donna was talented at many things, but some of her true passion lay in cross stitch and genealogy. Genealogy gave her new stories from the family she could share. Cross stitch gave her something she could give you as an impressive display of her talent and patience, something to see and think of her.
She is survived by her husband Steve, son Rick (Sherry) Lewis, son Kerry Lewis, daughter Seana Lewis, son Kirk (Sandi) Patten, Brent (Shelly) Patten, son Kip (Dawna) Patten, son Bryan (Dawn) Lewis, daughter Amie (Tom) Lee, son Josh (Kelli) Lewis and daughter Pennie (Cord) Speck and many grandkids, great grandkids and great-great grandkids.
She is preceded in death by both parents, brother Gene and her son David.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Thursday Dec. 12, 2024 at Dalton-Hoopes in Grantsville, Utah.

Graveside services will take place Friday Dec, 13, 2024 in Heber City at 2 pm
