Bruce Allen Kruizenga

Bruce Allen Kruizenga, 61, passed away peacefully in his sleep February 1st at home Tooele,
Utah.

He was born on December 12, 1962 in Joliet, IL, and grew up in Summit, IL to Nancy
Frantz and Butch Kruizenga.

Bruce led a life of service to his country and community by serving
within the Explosive Ordnance Division in the army and as a police officer for 23 years in the city
of Lockport, IL. Bruce spent his time tinkering in the garage, riding anything with two wheels,
camping, tending to his garden, running, and singing to his beloved animals. To quote Bruce “I
would watch anything racing, even two turtles.” Bruce lived his life to the fullest every single day.
He had many friends and never failed to make them laugh or smile. He will be missed by many,
especially his family and pets.

He is survived by his mom, Nancy Frantz; his loving wife, Tiffany Kruizenga; his four children, Elizabeth (Jeremy) Gallagher, Britny (Tim) Kruizenga, Nathan
Knapczyk, and Abigal Kiernan; his three grandchildren, Aubrianna, Ariella, and Mckenzie; His
four siblings Bill (Tina) Kruizenga, Diane (Mitch) Neal, Brad (Liz) Kruizenga, and Brian
Kruizenga; his three animals Mabel May, Auggie Samuel, and Annie Bananie; and his numerous
nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father Butch Kruizenga; and his two dogs Casey
Lee and Sammy Sam.

A Celebration of Life will be held on February 10 between 2-4pm at Grantsville
Lakeview Church, 163 UT-112, Grantsville, Utah 84029

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider donating to Tunnel of Towers, Wounded Warriors, or an animal shelter local to you.
