Blake David Roberts passed away on January 4, 2023 in South Jordan, Utah at the age of 34 after battling with mental illness.
Blake was born on January 18, 1988 to Steven Lewis Roberts and Laurel Rich Roberts at Holy Cross Hospital. He was raised in Kearns, Utah where he attended Beehive Elementary, Jefferson Junior High, and Kearns High School. Blake had many close and loyal friends who he cared deeply for, literally giving them the shirt off his back or the shoes off his feet to help them.
Blake later moved to South Jordan, staying with his parents, where he held several jobs including: Pizza delivery, Caregiver, and being a Driver for the disabled.
Blake loved animals, especially his dog Aurora who will miss him deeply. His love for animals carried into his diet, wanting to make sure no animal was ever hurt on his behalf. Dogs & ducks would gravitate to him. He loved riding on his scooter with Aurora to Oquirrh Lake to feed the ducks oats.
He was survived by Steven & Laurel (parents), Jason & Jennifer Roberts (brother), Drake Ray Roberts (nephew) & Sophia Belle Roberts (niece), and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Glen Elmo Rich & Norma Lorraine Hakes Rich, Lewis David Roberts & Betty Louise Charlesworth Roberts, uncle Scott Charlesworth Roberts, cousins Anthony Glen Barrus, McKenzy David Barrus, Emily Elder Barrus, and Dawson McKenzy Barrus.

Thanks for all the great conversations we had, we never got the chance to meet in person but you were and inspiration for me and our conversations got me through a lot of hard times. My deepest condolences to the family.
Blake… I’m so sorry. Had we been closer geographically, I’m positive we would’ve spent much time appreciating all that nature has to offer together. You were an inspiration to me in many ways. And I respect your path for it is challenging to deal with society at the peak of the consumerism era. I’m sending much love to you always, wherever you now roam. May you be at peace. <3
