Our sweet Andrea (affectionately known as Dre, Drea, Dae-Dae, Skittles, Drix, and Giggles) passed away unexpectedly in Tooele, Utah on September 27th, 2023 when the overwhelm of postpartum depression became too much for her to bear.
Andrea was born on October 16, 2001 in West Valley City, Utah to Valerie P. Sandoval Wiseman and John W. Pacheco, Sr. Dre was the 2nd oldest of six children and she was blessed to have the love of her dad Rick Wiseman in her life since the age of five.
Dre married her love, Austin D. Strehle, on October 7th, 2022 in Tooele, Utah and together they welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Amara R. Strehle, into their loving arms on August 8th, 2023. Amara was Dre’s entire world.
Andrea was a part of the graduating class of 2020 at Tooele High School. She was pursuing (& excelling in!) a career in her passion of behavioral health therapy with children with disabilities. Watching them achieve success when they had doubted themselves made her even more eager to guide them. Andrea adored her students and they loved her deeply.
Andrea had a sweet and loving heart from the very beginning. Drea was a beautiful, outgoing, and strong-willed woman who would stand her ground on anything she felt passionate about. Dre’s smile was infectious and one couldn’t help but smile back when seeing hers. She was starting to truly love her body and who she was as a person. She recently became a Luminescence Boudoir Ambassador promoting body positivity and confidence for all women.
Andrea was an incredibly phenomenal artist with drawing capabilities that would leave you in awe! Her drawings for friends and family will forever be cherished and a reminder of the beautiful soul she was and always will be. From fishing trips to chillin’ in a circle with everyone, music and rapping with her sisters and brothers, dancing, swimming and just being silly – Drea was a light to so many people. She loved butterflies and being outdoors and she had a thing for all the cute little fuzzy animals. She could not resist expressing her excitement any time she saw one.
More than anything, Andrea absolutely loved her family, friends, and the family she was creating with Austin and we all loved the love she shared with each of us. She was the most genuine, kind, accepting, compassionate, soul you could ever meet. She had a heart of gold and loved to make people laugh and feel loved and to bring joy to others. To say her absence leaves an emptiness in all of us is woefully understated.
Dre is survived by her loving husband Austin, their daughter Amara, her parents Valerie & Rick Wiseman and John Sr. & Ginger Pacheco, her siblings John Pacheco, Jr., Abigayle (Matthew) Wiseman, Robert Pacheco, Prince Pacheco, and Saryia Wiseman, sisters in law Savannah Brown and Ailē Garcia, her best friend Ja Von’Tae Smith, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.
