Anthony William Poarch age 62, passed away on August 22, 2021, at his home in Grantsville Utah due to a long battled illnesses.  He was born on June 22, 1959 in Fayetteville, Tennessee to Geneva Hentz Guthrie and Charles Will Poarch. He stayed single all of his life but, was a father figure to many of his Nieces’ and Nephews.

Tony served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany where he worked on Special Weapons.

Tony worked for several Contractors builders, building, & remolding houses. He loved to design and build odds and ends, as well as furniture with wood. He always took pride in his work. He loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, and spending time on Wolf Mountain where he had land that he loved dearly. He was a very giving person and loved to help others. He loved spending time with his family. He loved his dogs and always said he would starve before he ever let his dogs starve, they always came first. He loved Wolves and Indian figures and was very passionate about them.

Survived by his brothers Jackie Hentz (Debbie), Bob Burns, Ricky Poarch (Linda), and Sisters Cindy Harvell (Rod), Teresa Graves (Bubba), as well as several nieces & nephews.

Preceded in Death by Geneva Hentz Guthrie (mother), Charles Will Poarch (father), Kathy Marr (Sister), Jerry Marr (Brother in law), Jody Jay Marr (Nephew)

A tribute will be held in Tony’s Honor on Sunday August 29th at 4:00 PM at Grantsville Utah Stake Center Pavillion located behind Stake Center 550 East Durfee St. Grantsville, Utah, where he will receive Military Honors.
