Michael Patrick Seach

Michael Patrick Seach, 60, of Stansbury Park, Utah, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on September 19, 2023 due to a long courageous battle with bvFTD.

Michael was born on September 16, 1963 to Edward and Sara Seach in San Diego, California. Mike grew up in a quiet San Diego neighborhood attending Crawford High. He also studied at UCR Extension focusing on Construction Management and studied at Landmark Education.

Throughout his working years Michael was employed by many residential home builders. Michael worked several years in California until we moved to Stansbury Park in 1996. He continued as a construction project manager at many Utah based home builders. In 1999 he built our home in Stansbury Park. When the construction building slowed in 2008, Mike had to take jobs away from home for several years, returning home on weekends to be with the family.

Mike was quick witted, funny, creative, and resourceful. He loved to surf, ski, bowl, go camping, tailgate at NFL football games we went to, fishing, boating, hiking, cycling, walking his dogs and playing bingo at the casinos with his sister. These were just a handful of his passions.

Mike was a hardworking provider, loving father, grandpa and husband. He was a good friend to many. He was there to always lend a hand to neighbors and friends.

Mike is survived by his wife of 34 years Terri, and their 5 children Frank (Amanda) Gallegos, Jackie (Mike) Badovinatz, Vanessa (Nathan) Keyes, Zachary (Dustin) Seach, Nicholas Seach; 7 grandchildren Kerah (Dominic) Roberts, Erik (Heather) Frazier, Shayleigh Gallegos, Frank Jr. Gallegos, Embrie Ferrin, Alexus Keyes and Maison Keyes; 3 brothers Ed (Bonnie) Seach, Dan Seach, Dave (Katherine) Seach and 2 sisters Marilyn (Ken) Koll and Michelle Fabianes; 1 nephew Matt (Vanessa) Koll and 3 neices Nichole Seach Quiroz, Natalie (Arya) Etedali and Danielle Seach.

We take comfort knowing Mike was welcomed home by many loved ones including his loving parents Edward and Sara Seach, sister in law Nora Seach, all grandparents, and many aunts and uncles. Last but not least our fur babies Boz, Kelly, Monty, Jenny, and most recently his favorite girl Chloe followed him home 4 days after Mike’s passing.

The family would like to thank CNS Hospice Service, specifically Merrilly, Mike’s nurse, who took wonderful, loving care of Mike and the family; and Amelia, Mike’s CNA, also providing professional, compassionate care.

Funeral Services and Celebration of Life will be held October 27, 2023 from 2:30-3:30 for the service and 3:30-5:30 for the celebration of life. Services will be located at the Stansbury Park, Utah Club House on Clubhouse Dr.

Mike you will be missed deeply and our hearts will ache forever until we meet again. The angels are saying, “Welcome home Mike, welcome home.”
