Bonnie Griffith

Bonnie Lou Dale Griffith was born in Glendale, CA on December 21, 1938 to William Arthur Dale and Irma Vilate Yeager. She died just following her 85th birthday on December 23, 2023. She married her sweetheart, Larry Newton Griffith, in the Salt Lake Temple on June 27, 1958 by Elder LeGrand Richards. Bonnie graduated from Tooele High in 1957 where she competed with the synchronized swim team. She helped support Larry in his schooling and later worked for American Express. Together they served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Las Vegas, Nevada mission and two service missions in St. George, Utah after retirement. They raised 5 amazing children: Lori (Steve) Lieb, Denise (Russ) Bowman, Gayleen (George) O’Bourke, Darin (Brandi), and Derek (Erika). She adored her 23 grandkids and 6 great grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters Shirley and Margaret,  brother Raymond and two granddaughters. She is survived by her brother Ron (Alice) Dale.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 3 PM at the Lake Point Ward, 1366 Canyon Road, Lake Point, Utah. Viewing will be 1 Hour prior to services. Burial will follow services in the Lake Point Cemetery in the care of Dalton-Hoopes Funeral Home, Grantsville, 435-884-3031.
