Talon Gilbert Zufelt, born on February 18, 1998, in Provo, Utah, left us after a courageous battle with epilepsy on August 19, 2026. Talon was the beloved son of Heather Marie Thompson, Step dad Clint Russell Nelson and father Bobby Gilbert Zufelt, and cherished brother to Jade, Gabriella, Calen, and Javen. He joins his grandfather, Billy Gilbert Zufelt, in eternal rest.
A dedicated worker at Jimmy John’s, Talon was known for his unwavering loyalty and infectious laughter. He touched many lives with his caring nature and made friends wherever he went. Talon’s passion for life was evident in his love for fishing, hiking, and the great outdoors. His playful spirit shone through at family gatherings, where he delighted in playing jokes and spreading joy.
Talon’s zest for life extended to his love for video games and music, often merging the two to create his own world of happiness. He was the family’s protector and his laughter was the heartbeat of every conversation. Talon lived life following the beat of his own drum, leaving a legacy of warmth, humor, and kindness. His spirit will forever inspire those who knew and loved him.
