Stephen LeGrand “Jonesy” Jones  born November 12, 1950 to Margaret Hunnington and LeGrand Omni “Red” Jones, went to meet his mother and father at the pearly gates on October 2, 2025 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Stephen rode in the Tooele Rodeo as a Bronco and bull rider. He enjoyed time with family, his dog Chewy, walks around the neighborhood and spending time with his friends. Stephen loved to work on his 1952 Ford truck, fish, and cook. He worked at the Colorado Bell in Laughen, NV, as well as worked for Local 295 for many years. Married was to Cynthia Davies for and Janet Stewart. His is survived by his son Stephen Bruce Jones Baker and is preceded in death by his mother Margaret Huntington Jones, Father LeGrand Omni Jones, and  sister Carolyn Jones.

Services will be held on October 18, 2025. A viewing will take place at the Tooele 13th ward building located at 180 South Coleman St, Tooele, UT 84074 from 9:30-10:30, funeral from 11-12 and a graveside to follow. There will also be a luncheon at the church. In leiu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to help offset the funeral costs.
