Russel Kent Cowan, age 78 passed away Monday evening, October 27, 2025 at his home in Rush Valley, Utah surrounded by his loving family.

He was born May 2, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Phoebe Minta Westover and Vernon Elmer Cowan.  He married Sue Cowan. She preceded him in death.

Russel is survived by his children: Tiffani Stickle, Todd Cowan, Tori Cowan, Trinity Nelson, Tandi Coyle. Brother: Bill Cowan; Sisters: Anne Smith and Joan Peterson.

In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by brothers: Ron, Ted, Doug and 2 sisters: Linda and Chris.

Private family services will be held.
