Obituary of Robyn B. Warner

Robyn Bishop Warner, age 56, passed away on October 23, 2026, at her home in Grantsville Utah, due to pancreatic cancer. She was born on May 1st, 1970, in Murray Utah to Pamela Kemp Bishop and Willard Robin Bishop. Married Michael Cox Warner on the 15th of June, 1991. They were married 35 years.
Robyn loved theater and participated greatly in the department at Cedar City High School. She graduated in 1988 and moved onto her Bachelor of Science in Theater Arts at Southern Utah University. She graduated with her degree and a minor in history in 1992. While living in Cedar City with her husband she gave birth to Jessica Warner. Later she had her second child Benjamin Michael Warner. After some time, they moved into the basement of Michael’s Cox Grandparents in Salt Lake City and she had Bronte Warner (Johnson). Michael’s job took them to Oregon, where Robyn had her final child, Joshua Ian Warner. In 2009 they moved back to Utah and after building their house, moved and settled in 2011 in Grantsville. There she has stayed until her death.
Robyn was a brilliant actress, storyteller, mother, and teacher. She taught the students of Willow elementary computer skills, and founded the Wonder League, a youth robotics and amateur coding team. She taught sixth grade for some time before deciding to get certificates in IT and code herself. She held many callings for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, including Cub Scout Master. She was remembered by many young boys and their families for bringing enthusiasm and fun to their activities. She was a woman of faith, and when asked about how her illness was affecting her she spoke about how God loved her on her path, and “God loves you on yours. God has been teaching me acceptance.”
She is survived by her husband, Michael, and her children Jessica, Benjamin, Bronte (Derick, son in law) and Joshua. She was proceeded in death by her Father Willard, on July 6th 2026, earlier this year. Her grandparents are waiting for her as well on the other side.
A Memorial will be held by the Grantsville 7th Ward and her family at the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints “Apple Chapel” at 415 W Apple St, Grantsville, UT 84029. No visitation will be held as she will be cremated.
