Rhonda “Alice” Tychsen: age 60 years
Born: October 10, 1965
Day of passing: October 26, 2025
Place of birth: Tooele Utah, United States
On October 26, 2025, our most beautiful Rhonda (MBR) passed over to join her parents and puppies, Holger and Elizabeth, Hazel, Lousie, and Chaco.
She leaves behind her beloved wingman and life partner, Keith Sternfels and their K-9 kids, ZoZo and Bernadette; her siblings, Roxanne Tychsen, Russell (Michelle) Tychsen, Raelyn Tychsen, and Roslyn (Eric) Tychsen and their families. Her steadfast love for Keith and the life they built together, as well as her love for those who call her a friend, leaves a hole in all our hearts.
Rhonda’s effervescent quality, humor, and passion for life always spiced up the group conversation. Her radiant smile made everyone feel welcome, comfortable, and wanting more. Rhonda’s deep love and commitment to her dearest friends taught us: FRIENDS can become FAMILY and Laughing, Smiling, and Loving are LIFE.
Rhonda was an avid reader with a keen sense of style and design. Her talent is reflected in her garden, home, and approach to living. Her artistic skills were enhanced by a bachelor’s degree in Art History from Brigham Young University and a semester abroad in Italy.
With her passion for music, she’ll be remembered by many as a fierce and loyal Rolling Stones fanatic. Rhonda also loved yoga, hiking, cycling, skiing, and going for walks with her pack of puppies and loved ones… and the Yankees!
Rhonda was so S-M-R-T! For all reading this, she would ask you to leave the world a little better than you found it. To fill your life with purposeful things like love, a pack full of puppies, find your soulmate and love them intensely, passionately, and completely.
A celebration of life is tentatively planned for May 2, 2026. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to National Public Radio (NPR) or Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.

Rhonda,
I was so saddened to hear of your passing. I loved working with you at C&B and any day I saw you, was brighter and more delightfully funny. You always came in clutch with a little sweet treat when shifts were dragging, and the moments to chat were appreciated. I’ll continue to think of you fondly for as long as my brain will allow. ❤️Paula
So beautifully said. I am so sorry.
