Obin Ngengiyumva was born on August 1st, 2008, in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. He sadly left us on May 06, 2026, after a very sudden decline in his mental health.
Obin was born to Mayoya Kosani and Laurencia Kikamugabwa. Obin is survived by his loving sisters and brothers, Divina, Claudine, Michael, Zabron, Jorgette, and many loyal cousins and extended family members.
Obin Nsengiyumva was a loving person. He made people laugh. Loved video games. He loved his family. Loved spending time with his cousins. He was a happy kid. At his teen age, he started to experience some struggles that limited him from focusing and completing his education. He later started self-medicating hoping to stop struggles he was experiencing daily. He began to develop serious mental health. He was in and out of mental health facilities. Obin never gave up, he continued to fight at his best capacity. May 6, 2026, was final day he ended his pain and struggles by leaving physical life and starting spiritual life.
Obin’s life and kindness will be remembered. It is sadly that he has left us. He enjoyed being around his family and cousins. He was friendly to many people. He was a young man of peace. He shared meals with many families and friends. It is our faith that family and friends will meet Obin again one day.

I did not not know this young man, but his beauty and soul are obvious in his face. Like you, I believe he will, at the appointed time, be reunited with all of you who love him and miss him so much. And, until that day comes, he rests in the comfort and gentle love of his Father and Creator. Peace to you all.
