Norma is lovingly remembered by her family, including her aunts, Janet Kinley and Bev Peck; her sister, Bonny Wall, and brother-in-law, Scott Wall; her son, Jay Bouck, and daughter-in-law, Melinda Bouck; and her daughter, Jamie Lyn Bouck-Erickson. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Matt Erickson. Norma was a proud grandmother to Ciara (Preston), Skyler (Whitney), and Austin, and a cherished great-grandmother to Kaylee, Makaila, Hunter, Kamden, Brooks, and Autumn.
Norma dedicated much of her professional life to hard work and learning. She worked at Robertson Marine and later for the University of Utah. While employed there, she pursued her education and earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah. She later traveled back and fourth from Utah to Las Vegas to complete her master’s degree in Social work. Demonstrating her lifelong commitment to personal growth and education.
Known for her warmth and kindness, Norma was a good neighbor and an even better friend. She had a creative spirit and was an avid crafter and an excellent seamstress, sharing her talents generously with those she loved. Her life was marked by devotion to her family, dedication to her work, and a deep love for learning and creativity.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday the 12th of February at 5 p.m. at Jay Bouck’s house.
Norma’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
