Neil Scott Isaacson (1947-2026) passed away peacefully at home on October 10th, 2026 after visiting with his older sister Sandra and younger brother Kelly at his home in Tooele, Utah.
My father was a strong individual in body and mind. At age 7 he was inflicted with a crippling disease known as Polio. He was also the first child to receive the Polio vaccine. He got his picture taken in the local newspaper.
He was drafted into the Navy during Vietnam and served two years, receiving an honorable discharge in 1970.
Neil enjoyed hunting for deer with his father William Andrew Leo Isaacson , and brothers William Roger, Kelly Shaun, and Terry Jim.
They all learned how to hunt and fish in the mountains and deserts of Utah.
Neil is survived by his wife, Shawna Isaacson, and his children Scott Anthony and Jennifer Gene. His step-children Michelle Montano, Cher Speirs, Jennifer Speirs, Tom Speirs and Matthew Speirs. His sister Sandra and brother Kelly.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Barbara. His brothers Rodger and Terry, sister Lana, and daughter Gina.
A celebration of life will take place at the Magna Park on Saturday October 17th from 11-3.
There will be a potluck lunch so please bring your favorite dish or just yourself. Everyone will get a chance to express a fun story, tender moment, or lasting memory for our Beloved Neil Scott Isaacson.
