Wendy Lyn Eagle was born in Salt Lake City Utah on June 26, 1964, to Charles Sherman Eagle and Ann Newlin.
On September 4, 2025, at Delta Community Hospital, she passed at the age of 61 after facing cancer with courage and strength.
Wendy’s life was full of love — for her family, for Craig Higley, her devoted partner of ten years, and for the many animals she cared for as if they were her children. She made magic in the kitchen, offering meals that nourished more than the body — they warmed the soul. Her generosity and her gift for listening made everyone feel seen and welcome.
Wendy will be remembered for her level head, her tenacity, and her warm, steady heart. She is survived by Craig Higley, her siblings David, Debi, and Lacey Eagle, Sergio Alvarado and Renee Hennessy and her beloved fur babies Ringo and Rukus.
Wendy asked for no funeral service. Instead, her family invites those who loved her to plant a tree or perhaps release a balloon — a simple act of love to carry her spirit onward.
