G. Lynne Strickling Callendar passed away peacefully in her sleep the morning of December 26, 2025.
Lynne was born December 15, 1949 in Salt Lake City, Utah to George and Vera Thompson. She was the oldest of 5 children. She married H. Douglas Strickling in September 1968 and had 3 children. Doug passed away in 1998.
After being alone for several years, Lynne reconnected with an old friend, Leo Callendar. They were married in June 2019. She dearly loved Leo and he was by her side until the very end.
Lynne was preceded in death by her oldest son Douglas Jay (D. Jay).
She is survived by her sweetheart Leo, 2 of her 3 children, 4 step-children, and 5 grandchildren.
