Cleo Agnes Johnson Anderson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother,
great-great grandmother, sister and friend.
Passed away on May 23, 2026, at the age of 89.
Cleo was born November 24, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Lyla Agnes Snyder and
Kenneth Kirk Johnson. She was the cherished wife of Arthur James Anderson.
They were married on July 7, 1955, and later sealed in the Jordan River Temple, leaving us 45 days
short of celebrating their 71st wedding
anniversary.
Cleo had a loving heart that was as beautiful as all the flowers she lovingly grew. She was a long-time resident of South Jordan, Utah
She is survived by her devoted husband, Art Anderson; her 5 children, Theresa (Mike) Jensen, Tammy
(Ken) Groves, Sandy (Scott) Johnson, Jamie (John) Degelbeck and Tim (Shelly) Anderson
13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren, with 1 on the way;
her sister, Nyla (Ernie) Cook; and brother Michael Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters Edna Lyla Johnson and Vivian Johnson Webb Braithwaite;
and brother Bruce Kirk Johnson

Spring Gardens Assisted Living and Renew Hospice. Jaycee and Carolina you were wonderful.
A memorial of Cleo’s life will be held on June 6, 2026 at 11:00 until 11:45 with a family luncheon to follow at 12:00; at County Park 3rd Ward Meetinghouse, 1988 W. 11400 S., South Jordan Utah.
