Obituary of Claudina Garcia

In Loving Memory of Claudina Garcia
With profound sadness and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Claudina Maria Garcia, who peacefully entered into eternal rest on September 28, 2026, at the age of 88.
Born on March 27, 1938, in Talpa, New Mexico, Claudina lived a life defined by faith, love, strength, and devotion to her family. She was a beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, loving sister, treasured aunt, and dear friend to many.
On November 18, 1960, she married the love of her life, Carlos Garcia, and together they built a home filled with love, laughter, faith, and unwavering support. Their marriage was a testament to commitment, partnership, and enduring love.
Claudina found her greatest joy in her family. As a mother, she nurtured and guided her children with wisdom, patience, and unconditional love. As a grandmother and great-grandmother, she delighted in every opportunity to share stories, celebrate milestones, and create cherished memories. Her home was a place of comfort and welcome, where family gathered and everyone felt loved.
She was cherished for her gentle spirit, compassionate heart, generous soul, joyful spark, and unwavering faith. Whether offering words of encouragement, caring for a loved one in need, or simply sharing a warm smile and infectious laughter, she touched countless lives. Her strength during life’s challenges and her compassion for others left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Claudina found delight in camping and fishing with the love of her life, traveling including her favorite trips to Wendover, crocheting, gardening, and preparing meals for family and friends, and spending time on the phone connecting with those she loved. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her family and friends and created lasting memories with those closest to her. Her life was a beautiful reflection of selflessness, grace, and unconditional love.
She is lovingly survived by her husband, Carlos Garcia; her children, Ronnie Garcia (Lynn) and Lisa Avery (Kevin); her grandchildren, Sofia Garcia, Carlie Cumplido (Jonathan), and Devin Lopez; her great-grandchildren, Jax Contreras and Jonny Cumplido; her siblings, Francis Herrera and Dolores Borrego; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends whose lives were enriched by her love and friendship.
She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter and angel, Deanna Garcia; her parents, Juan M. and Beatriz Trujillo; and her brothers, Andres Trujillo, Charlie Trujillo, and Telesfor Trujillo.
Though our hearts are broken, we are comforted by the countless memories she leaves behind. Her love was the foundation of our family, her faith was an inspiration, and her legacy will continue through all those who were blessed to know her.

A beautiful soul, a loving heart, and a life that blessed generations. The love Claudina shared so freely remains our greatest inheritance and will continue to guide us for years to come.

She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. ❤️

A graveside service celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 11:00 am at Tooele City Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring and remembering a woman whose love was the foundation of her family and whose memory will forever be a blessing. A luncheon for family and friends will follow the service.
