  11. Chase,
For so much of my life I looked up to you like a brother. I remember selecting bright DC shoes and a neon pink Fox t-shirt to wear on my first day at a new school, and I felt so confident doing it because you helped me pick them out and I wanted to be just like you. All the fires in the backyard, blasting Skrillex, destroying our old piano with you and my dad. I am deeply grateful to have gotten to see you so recently but I can still hear your laugh echoing and it hurts all the more. I had missed you so much and learning that you moved to my city, I was so excited to see you more often and heal the friendship that we once had. I am devastated and heartbroken all over again, but I feel truly honored to have been your family and to have known you. You are and will forever be missed. I love you.
