Arvel Brinkerhoff passed away at 63 years old on April 2, 2024, in Tooele Utah from liver failure. He was born on July 8, 1960, in Salt Lake City Utah to Virginia Ann Stickney and Edwin James Brinkerhoff.
Arvel married Shonie Brinkerhoff on March 4, 1993, and helped raise her eight kids. He was a great father, husband, uncle, and son. He worked hard at Odyssey House of Utah, for 26 years, helping others work through their addictions and struggles. He did struggle with his own battles but always tried to get himself better. He is going to be missed.
He is preceded in death by Virginia and Edwin Brinkerhoff. He is survived by his wife Shonie and her eight kids, sister Ruby Brinkerhoff, son James Brinkerhoff and many grandkids.
Services will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024 at 11 AM Carr Fork Ward Chapel, 2032 Churchwood Dr., Tooele, Utah. Arrangements in care of Dalton-Hoopes Funeral Home. 435-884-3031

Arvel was an amazing inspiration to my sons while Shonie tended my them. I was a single mother trying to survive working two jobs. I am so grateful to have have him in their lives.
