Laura Joanne Rodgers

Laura Joanne Rodgers passed away June 26, 2021.  She was 59 years old.  She was born October 16, 1962 in Lancaster, PA. to Norma Denlinger Rodgers, now deceased, and Ned Rodgers of Stansbury Park, Utah.  

She lived most of her life in Pennsylvania.  During her final six years of life, she lived in Stansbury Park with her father and brother. 

She was a deli employee at Soelberg’s Market in Stansbury Park.  Apart from work, her primary interests were fine art and motion pictures.  She was a student of the arts, and was a fine painter, having studied at the Pennsylvania College of Art and Design.

Cooking was another forté of hers.  She enjoyed trying new recipes along with the standard Pennsylvania Dutch style cooking past along from her mother and grandmother.  Her chicken pot pie, and German potato salad were mouthwatering.

She is survived by her father, Ned Rodgers, her brother, Steven Rodgers, half-brother, John Rodgers, all Utah residents, and half-sister Jean Rodgers of California.
