Raymond Dee Jensen passed away peacefully, surrounded by grandchildren and children at his home in Grantsville, UT July 16th 2026. Raymond was a great man of strength in word and deed.
He was raised on a farm in Sterling UT and Caliente, Nevada. He loved to farm, hunt, fish and mine for gold. Raymond also served as the UT State VP in the Jaycees and was a Private E-2 in the USAR. He served as a Seventy and many other callings for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Raymond married his sweetheart Pam on December 10th 1965 and they were together 57 years before she passed away in 2022.
Dad never quit, even against all odds and he always did the right thing. He loved his family fiercely and he will be missed greatly.
Raymond was survived by Jeff Newton son, Steven Jensen son, Shaneen Wintch daughter, Jane Higley daughter, Nendy Ann Kerr daughter and Cynthia Newton daughter. Along with 21 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his wife Pamela Jane Russell Jensen, KamRay Jensen son, Kent Jensen son, Raymond Jensen son and Nathan Kerr grandson.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday the 25th at 10:30am at 415 W. Apple St LDS Church in Grantsville, UT. A viewing will be held the evening before on the 24th from 6-8pm and another on the morning of the 25th from 9:30-10:15 prior to services. Burial will be in the Sterling, Utah Cemetery.

Have many fond memories of fishing and hunting with this great man. He was one of the hardest workers I have ever been around. He will be missed. Love you brother!
When I got married, pamela and raymond hosted a wedding luncheon on their farm in the ramada by their house. It was beautiful and it was a generous lovely gesture of love and over the top. They paid for everything and supplied everything and cooked everything and set it all up. Afterwards they cleaned up everything. It was a gift of great love and generosity which I will always remember and treasure.
Raymond was like a pseudo-grandpa to us ten kids in the Caliente ward! He would always carry candy in his pockets to hang out to the kids after sacrament meeting! My parents also were their home teachers for quite a few years and so almost every Sunday they would come and eat lunch with us afterwards. I remember snuggling with Raymond who was such a gentle giant in my child-like eyes. He was a man of few words but had a huge heart and we all felt loved through his hugs and quiet smiles! We would make monthly trips down to their farm where we would play and work with Pam and Raymond and I always felt so loved by them! And that man never stopped working! I remember him coming into their house at dusk, hot and shiny with sweat to support his family. He was an amazing man and will be so so missed! ❤️❤️
Uncle Raymond was the salt of the earth. I remember his calm presence, a pillar of support for dear Aunt Pam. Raymond was solid like stone, rich like earth, familiar as an oak tree. A peaceful life. Peaceful rest.
Raymond and Pam came for dinner often when I was growing up. He would give us ding bumps when he came to the house. He was so tall and big, and would pick us up and gently bump our heads in the ceiling!!! 😍😍 I can still remember being so excited when he arrived, and begging for more.
