Lloyd H. Farr

1943 – 2024

Patriarch Lloyd Heber Farr passed peacefully into eternity surrounded by his loving family on December 4, 2024. Lloyd was born on February 25, 1943 in Provo, Utah to Erron Williams Farr and Helen Mar Kimball. The Farr’s had 7 Children, Laretus, Genevieve, Melvin, Margaret, Barbara, Andrew, and Lloyd. After Helen passed, Erron married Velva Ruth Brinkerhoff and Lloyd gained a sister named Georgianne.

Lloyd met Helen Haymore at the burger drive-in in Provo, Utah where he
worked. She quickly became the love of his life and his eternal companion. They were sealed
together in the Manti, Utah temple on June 21, 1962.

They brought 4 very loved children into this world, Bret Kimball (Janna), Michael Lloyd
(Malinda), Shelly Ann, and Franklin Dwain.
Lloyd was a very faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved
working with the youth, attending the temple, and being a temple worker at the Salt Lake
Temple. He served as bishop two times and lastly as a Patriarch of the Grantsville West Stake.
Lloyd was a very charismatic person and enjoyed his career working with the public. He retired
from Mother’s Cookies with many awards and accolades.
Lloyd was blessed with 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. He loved every one of
them with his whole heart.

Lloyd is survived by his four children, two daughter in laws, 16 grandchildren,
24 great-grandchildren, his sister Barbara Romney, sister in law Patricia Farr, brother in law
Dean Swenson, and a special person in his life whom he lovingly called his adopted daughter,
Allyson Burt.
He was preceded in death by his eternal love Helen, three great-grand sons, Todd Michael
Dimick Farr, Esben Kimball Noble, and James Farr, his parents and step-mother, six siblings and
five of their spouses.

A special thanks to the ICU nurses at Jordan Valley West Campus hospital, Active Home Health

taken care of our dad since his passing.
