Zeb Spencer Hyde

June 23, 1989 – October 19, 2023

Zeb Spencer Hyde, age 34, passed away on Thursday the 19^th of October in Orem Utah while in the hospital fighting aspiration pneumonia. He was born in Afton Wyoming to Shawna Marie Reid and Spencer Hyde (divorced).

Zeb lived in Wyoming, Utah, Montana, and Idaho. Then at age 15, he came back to Utah to live with Leland, Toni, and their family.  Zeb made lots of friends while he lived in Grantsville through church, school, and community activities.

 He received his Aaronic Priesthood Ordination as a teacher in 2005 and to the office of a Priest in 2008. He was so excited to pass the sacrament.

 He was the mascot for the Grantsville Cowboys football team for a year. He loved it! He was also on the student body counsel and was on the honor roll in 2005, 2007, 2008, and 2009.  He loved the social life of high school. He went to prom, morp (girls’ choice), Valentine’s dances, and any activity that was happening. He received his certificate of completion in 2009 from Grantsville High School. He then went on to complete more education at ATEC in Lehi Utah where he received his certificate of completion in 2011.

After completing his education, he enjoyed moving to several different places, some he loved and some not so much. He never complained and he was always open to new adventures.

Zeb brought so much joy to all he met and especially to those who knew and loved him personally. His sweet smile, kindness, forgiving nature, costumes, jokes, and funny sense of humor will be missed. 

Zeb is survived by his father Spencer Hyde, Mother Shawna Hyde, Siblings: Latt Hyde (Judy), Toni Hyde Wilcox (Leland), Bart Hyde (Debbie), Keldon Hyde (Melinda), Aaron Hyde (Barbara) and Candice Marie Smith (Quincy).  Also, his nieces, Snieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, and an uncle.

Proceeded in Death by, grandparents on both sides, Grandma Karma, and Dahlia a niece.

Viewing will be from Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am funeral will follow at 11:00 am @ Apple Chapel 415 West Apple St, Grantsville Utah.
