October 7, 1961 – March 21, 2023 (Age 61)
Scott peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday March 21, 2023, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He now joins his beloved wife Marie, loving sister’s Renae and Kenna, caring mother Marie M. Espinosa, and father Joe Espinosa.
In 1983 Scott’s sister Joann introduced him to Marie Allgood who later became his life-long love, they married on September 27, 1986, and shared an unforgettable wedding. Scott and Marie became proud parents of four children, Alisha, Nicole, Brittany, and Brandon, and later became proud grandparents of six beautiful grandchildren, Jordan, Rashaad, Leah, Lailah, Lindsey, and Braelynn.
Scott was known as a macho man who loved to laugh and have a good time, he often would sporadically act out scenes from his favorite Kung-fu movies starring Bruce Lee and Steven Seagal launching his family into uncontrollable laughter. He was a big fan of World Wrestling Entertainment, before speaking with him you knew his plans on Monday evening were reserved for Monday Night Raw and on Friday’s, Friday Night Smackdown. If you were lucky enough to catch the occasional WrestleMania or Hell in the Cell on Pay Per View with him, you were in for a show.
He was a dedicated auto mechanic for over 20 years, although he decided to hang his tools up in 2008 Scott remained a protector, teacher, and provider for his beloved family. He is survived by children Alisha, Nicole (Dewayne), Brittany, Brandon (Tristan), and grandchildren Jordan, Rashaad, Leah, Lailah, Lindsey, Braelynn, his sister’s Joann and Ellen, and many nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held from 5-6 PM on Tuesday March 28, 2023 at the City View Memoriam 1001 E 11th Avenue, Salt Lake City UT 84103. A Prayer Service will follow 6:00 pm – 7:00 PM .
