“Gene”

William Eugene Jensen “Gene” 84, passed away In his home on Dec. 31st, 2022 from a lengthy illness. He was surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born on Dec. 10, 1938 in Moroni, Utah to Jens Johanas Jensen & Cleo Nelson Jensen. Gene left Moroni, Utah after high school to go to work for Kennicott, where he worked for 23 years. After that he became a truck driver later retiring from Grassy in 2009. Once he retired he took up his passion of full time mud racing.  He loved camping on his property and spending time with his family and friends. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, uncle and a friend to many. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.

Gene is survived by his wife Jane Jensen of 25 years, daughter-Sherri Escalante, daughter-Tybee (Rick) Faddis, Son-Bob (Teresa) Hinkson, 13 grand kids & 21 great grand kids. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, 4 sisters and a son. 

There are no funeral services this time. A celebration of Life will be at a later date.
