Greg Wayne Fratto

Gregory W. Fratto, age 35, passed away on November 3rd 2021 due to a motorcycle accident.

He was born on October 31st 1986 in Murray, Utah to Rebecca M. Wren and Wayne T. Fratto. He was happily married to Cassidi L. Fratto and together they shared one son, Kaidan J. Fratto.

Greg loved being a father, husband, and friend. When Greg was around his family and friends he would tell his favorite stories and they would light up the room with so much laughter. He always made sure others would come before him and make sure they were happy and safe.

At the age of 17, Greg enlisted in the Army and ultimately earned the rank of Corporal during his tour in Iraq. Greg was very proud of being a Combat Veteran. One of his passions in life was helping veterans and their families. Greg joined the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, Chapter 49-1, and earned his road name “Optimus”. He was proud to co-found a project named “Boots Back Home” for veterans in need. Another passion that Greg had was being a part of the youth football communities and coaching his son’s football teams for 4 years.

He is survived by his wife and son, Cassidi and Kaidan Fratto. His mother, Rebecca Norton. His father and step sister, Wayne and Emily Fratto. His father and mother in-law, Tracy and Sheryl Rammell. His brother and sister in-law, Russell and Victoria Rammell. His aunt, Jenny Arduser and uncle, David Wren. Along with many nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles, and close friends.

He is preceded in death by his uncles Gregory Wren, Phillip Wren, and Raymond Arduser. His grandparents Lois and Bert Wren, John and Carmen Fratto, Ester Patricia Ness, and Myrna L. Kuefner. Along with many uncles, aunts, cousins, and close friends.

A funeral will be held on November 19th 2021 at Sun Rise Hall Chapel at Camp Williams, 17800 S. Camp Williams Rd, Bluffdale, UT 84065-4905. Visiting hour will be from 11:00am to 12:00pm. Service from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Interment will take place at The Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 17111 S. 1700 W. Bluffdale, UT 84065-4905 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm with full military honors under the care of Dalton-Hoopes Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
