Sharyn Lorraine Nevarez, age 74, passed away peacefully Saturday evening, November 7, 2020 at the Rocky Mountain Care in Tooele.
She was born March 16, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois to Mary Jo Wilkinson and George Nagle. She married her high school sweetheart and friend, Joe Parra Nevarez, in April of 1962.
She loved to sew, crafts and loved to share her creations. She shared her artistic and entrepreneurial spirit with friends and family alike. Sharyn enjoyed spending time loving and caring for her family. For several years Sharyn worked as a seamstress sewing for several corporations. Also worked as a telemarketing consultant and payroll manager. Her true love was always creating and selling artisitc creations and assisting her children as an Althletic Cheer leading Director.
Her life was an example of one her favorite bible verses, 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
Survived by her loving husband: Joe; Children: Joe Nevarez, Jr.; George Curtis Nevarez; Deborah Lynn Miner and Phyliss Lanette Nevarez as well as 16 grand kids and 17 great-grand kids and Sister: Joanne Graham.
Preceded in death by parents: Brothers: Steven and David Nagle.
Celebration of life will be announced at a later time.
